Food and Wine Group Event at Jsix Sells Out!

The Press Club Food and Wine Group's Italian wine tasting at the beautiful Jsix Bar atop the Hotel Solamar downtownwas a sellout! Over 50 club members and their guests tasted wonderful Italian wines supplied by Don Jennings and the Henry Wine Group. They also sampled wonderful tapas style dishes prepared especially by Jsix for the selected wines. The attendees were able to purchase the wines at 10% above cost at selected wine merchants throughout the county.

Club manager Terry Williams reported that we have several new members who joined specifically because of the food and wine event. Cheers to them. Encourage your friends to get into the act and join now. Next month's event is scheduled to be a real winner where everyone will get high before we even begin to sip. It will be on the 40th floor of Manchester Hyatt on the bay downtown. We're thinking South American wines for this event.
