Reno's Greatest Hits Debuts This Summer
Longtime Press Club member Jamie Reno has just completed work on a new CD. Titled "Survivors Songs: Jamie Reno's Greatest Hits," it includes four new songs, all his previous radio hits, a deluxe 20-page booklet, and such impressive guest artists as Peter Frampton. Robert Lamm (Chicago), Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers), Randy Meisner (Eagles), Justyn and Carl B. Wilson (Beach Boys family), Jeff Skunk Baxter (Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers), Wayne Nelson (Little River Band), Charlie Daniels, and more. Included on Jamie's new record is "Away," a new song Jamie has written in loving memory of Beach Boy brothers Carl and Dennis Wilson, two of Jamie's musical heroes. Jamie is honored that Carl Wilson's son Justyn Wilson and Dennis Wilson's son Carl B. Wilson are singing with him on the song. Also included on the new record is a brand new celebratory rocker Jamie has written called "Survivors' Song" that features the legendary Peter Frampton playing lead guitar. Jamie, a nine-year survivor of non-Hodgkins lymphoma cancer, has dedicated this project to raising awareness of treatments for lymphoma and other blood cancers and has closely affiliated the project with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ( HYPERLINK "http://www.lls.org" www.lls.org), which will be distributing the record to tens of thousands of its members at all 63 society chapters nationwide. "Survivors' Songs: Jamie Reno's Greatest Hits" is scheduled for a Summer 2005 release and can be purchased on Jamie's website at HYPERLINK "http://www.jamiereno.com" www.jamiereno.com.
