It's Awards Time

Make plans now to attend the San Diego Press Club's 32nd annual Excellence in Journalism Awards. The date is Thursday October 27th, beginning with a cocktail hour at 5:30. We are returning, by very popular demand, to the Shelter Point Hotel and Marina on Shelter Island.

If you didn't renew your membership at the time you sent in your award entries, be sure to do so now. Members receive a discount on ticket prices to attend the J-Awards and all our events throughout the year. Our popular new Food & Wine Club is a members-only benefit. Plans are also in the works for several members-only discounts at local businesses. You could recoup the cost of your entire membership very quickly.

Invitations to the Awards will be in the mail on September 20th but put the date on your calendar now - October 27th - and make plans to attend and celebrate.
